From the North: Take Route 1 South. Sunrise Point Road (Fire Road 9) is two miles south of Lincolnville Beach. Turn left onto Sunrise Point Road (Fire Road 9), which is marked by the Inn’s burgundy and gold sign with a sun symbol on top of the sign. The Inn is at the end of the road at the water’s edge.
From the South: Take I-95 North to Portland. Shortly after Portland, near Yarmouth, exit onto Route 295 North. Follow 295 North to Exit 28 (or Exit 31 if you miss Exit 28) to Coastal Route 1. Follow Route 1 North all the way through Camden.
Shortcut: You may want to save several miles and half an hour’s time at the end of your trip by turning left off of Route 1 onto Route 90 shortly after you pass through Waldoboro. (The junction of Route 1 and Route 90 is approximately 90 minutes north of Portland.) Once you have turned left on Route 90, stay on Route 90 for 10 miles and it will bring you back to Route 1 just south of Camden. Turn left at the junction of 90 and Route 1 to go to Camden and beyond our coastal Maine Inn.
The Inn is just off Coastal Route 1, 4 miles north of Camden’s harbor and Main Street. Follow Route 1 one mile past Camden’s northern city limit until you come to Sunrise Point Road (also labeled Fire Road 9). Turn right onto Sunrise Point Road (Fire Road 9). Sunrise Point Road is marked with the Inn’s burgundy and gold sign with a sun symbol on top of the sign. The Inn is at the end of Sunrise Point Road at the water’s edge.
Note: Sadie’s Antiques is across the street from Sunrise Point Road. If you pass Duck Trap Kayak (small purple building), you’ve gone too far!
